Sommermeyer (San Diego, California), two 5 3/8 x 8 1/2 inches tall stapled paperbounds in printed covers, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, 78, 29 pp. Slight soiling and rubbing to covers of Vi and Mam. Otherwise, a very good set - clean, bright and unmarked. Rare; OCLC locates only one copy (No. 85898686) of My First 89, at the Library of Congress in Washington, and one copy (No. 62703028) of Vi and Mam, at University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. ~SP24~ [1.0P] A memoir/autobiography by Karl H. Sommermeyer (1908-2010), an engineer and patent lawyer born and raised in Minnesota who spent most of his professional life in southern California, together with a brief 1979 biography Karl wrote about his cousin, Viola Louise Sommermeyer (1896-1979), and Viola's close friend Carrie Murray Stimmel (1871-1961).
