Small ringbound manual of surveying with notes in back and a township grid glued to inside back cover. Frederic W. Welch was an assistant professor in Civil Engineering at State College of Washington (now Washington State University) and retired in 1947. This appears to be a facsimile reproduction of his handwritten instructions. Staining in places on outside cover and previous owner s name written on front. Additional photos available by request.
