About this Item
Fairies of the Trees. Written and illustrated by Cicely Mary Parker. Published by Blackie and Sons. No date is given but and ink inscription states 1951. Size: 4 1/2 x 5 inches. 50 pages. The beige boards are decorated with black tiles, a checkerboard pattern, and a paste-down image of the mulberry fairy. The pale yellow dust jacket is decorated with an image of the Cherry Fairy. The pages within are printed on one side only. Condition of book: Near Fine. The boards are absolutely clean and barely worn. There is a little foxing on the end block and shadows of foxing on the front end paper and first pages. The pages are un-thumbed. There is a name and date on the title page. Condition of dust jacket: Very Good. It is clean and only a very little worn along the top edge. Sellotape has however been applied to the top and bottom of the spine where small tears, about 1/2 inch in length have started. Seller Inventory # 000237
