Glossy boards, first 2 appear to be laminated by publisher and this lifting on second title with little obvious effect on appearance, which also has slight front joint rubbing, otherwise all clean and virtually unworn.The School of Charity etc (4th imp. this ed., 1st-1954): red bordered t.p. + xvi + 109 + 77, small printed price tipped into fr.gutter: 3 lines underlined on p.3 otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. The Fruits of the Spirit etc. (4th impression this ed. 1st-1956), red-bordered t.p. + viii + 72 + 107 (actually starts p.7 as original 1944 t.p. of separately published book omitted); some underlining and marginal lining to 3rd title, affecting 5 pp. 3 having marginal lines only, short red ballpoint note top rear pastedown otherwise clean, tight and unmarked; Mount of Purification (2nd impression, 1st-1960): plain t.p. + vi + 333, small printed price tipped in to fr. gutter; 2 leaves creased at top outer corner, and cryptic very small black oval stamp 'M 13' bottom rear pastedown. The contents of these 3 vols. were originally issued independently between 1934 and 1949. Despite the few internal faults as noted this remains a very attractive set. 11 cm x 17 cm.
