The top and bottom edges of the spine and the bottom edge of the front cover are all frayed. There are remnants of a large 'X' in pencil on the front endpaper and a bookplate on another title page indicates the book's distribution as part of the 1960 American Red Cross Children's Fund. Priority shipping is $15.00 for delivery by either UPS or Priority Mail. Delivery is within 2-6 business days and includes tracking and insurance. Economy shipping is $7.00 for delivery bu US Media Mail with delivery confirmation. Our shipping prices may be higher than others but consider that all items are carefully wrapped in bubblewrap, cushioning material, and secure packaging - you won't receive a book dropped into a plain paper envelope! Items are shipped daily, usualy within 24 hours of receipt of order. Customers with special shipping/handling requests and directions should chose our regular shipping.
