Original red boads with gilt lettering to front and gilt illustraion of an armchair about 1760-1780 below it, bevelled edge to boards, showng some signs of wear, light background soiling, bumped with a trace of fraying in places, 14.5 x 10.75 inches approx. , foxed endpapers, previous owner's name dated 1898 to front endpaper, creasing to front endpaper, a little worm damage to rear endpapers, small worm hole reaching through to plates 38-40, 28 pagrs followed by 40 black and white plates.
