Hardcover no date The green and blue marbled cover has leather corners and spine. The leather corners are rubbed and lightly bumped; the spine is missing all the leather except the title and the author which are in gilt. The endpapers have a brown floral design and are free of any writing; the trimmed head is gilt. The frontispiece is an oval picture of Longfellow with the tissue still attached. There are many illustrations by F. O. C. Darley throughout the book. The interior is bright and clean with the original green marking ribbon still attached. 155pp. Seller Inventory # 000882
