Later red cloth with spine label. 8vo. xxxvi, 489pp. Third edition. A treatise on heart disease by Napoleon's personal physician. The author was the first to distinguish between organic and functional heart disease, and to differentiate cardiac and pulmonary disorders. A very good copy with light wear to the cloth.
