(The Wood Lea Press 2005) SPECIAL EDITION # 9 of 55 Special Copies (50 for sale) with a suite of linocuts cut in 1980-1 by Edward Bawden for Morte D'Arthur and printed by Richard Bawden on Somerset paper. The prints are housed loosely in a separate card portfolio with the book in a specially-made solander box with gilt lettering to the front and spine. The book is bound in patterned paper-covered boards in quarter leather. This Special Edition is a stunning production. Extended introduction relating to Edward Bawden's work by Elspeth Moncrieff with the Catalogue prepared by Jeremy Greenwood. A large format book in landscape format so as to do justice to the large linocuts such as Brighton Pier and Liverpool Street Station. Over 250 illustrations (many in colour) covering Bawden's entire career. ISBN: 0 9543185 5 2.
