Photographic postcard view of Western American wagon train; a few lead horses and riders, eight-wheeled (double-coupled?) wagon pulled by eight-mule team with another wagon in the distance; most riders with military uniforms, armed; no photographer or location identified; back of card split-back type, unused but inscribed in pencil "Emily from the nearst (sic) rail road station this is our supply train this is the only way we have to get supplys here they come in wagons 23 miles"; Circa 1900; slight wear; very good condition, sharp imagery.
