Vol II = 387 pages including Index. 342 x 255 mm. Weight approx 5 kg. Publisher's two-tone brown buckram, gilt lettering to the spine, colour tissue-guarded descriptive frontispieces, black and white plates throughout. A fine book (no foxing; no inscriptions; really clean interior; and boards exceptionally bright and clean with no wear) in a VG complete dustwrapper with a couple of small holes (1.5 and 0.5 cm respectively) to the spine which is a touch darkened and wrinkled. There are tiny pieces missing from the top and bottom right-hand corners of the front panel and there is a 2.5 inch closed tear which also has a crease. Looks much better than it sounds and overall the dustwrapper is a solid VG. This is a very heavy book that will attract additional postage particularly for orders emanation from overseas. A nice copy of an important furniture first edition and particularly uncommon in dustwrapper.
