Stagecoach Press limited edition of 550 copies, unnumbered. Originally published in 1937. Grey cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Boards are in near fine condition with very slight rubbing to head and tail of spine. Orange illustrated dust jacket with black lettering on cover and spine. Jacket is wrapped in mylar, is not price clipped, and is in near fine condition with very minor creasing and soiling. Tight binding and clean interior. Bookstore sticker affixed to mylar on back flap of jacket. Includes a few black-and-white photos and illustrations. Before becoming governor of New Mexico, James F. Hinkle (1864-1951) worked as a cowboy in the Pecos River valley. This book records the story of his ranch years at the end of the 19th century. Seller Inventory # 0021808
