1994 first edition, Earlington's Citizen Committee (Earlington, Kentucky), 8 1/2 x 11 inches tall spiral bound (black plastic comb) in tan printed covers, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs and facsimiles, [190] pp. Moderate to heavy soiling, rubbing, creasing and edgewear to covers, with small edge tears to the front cover. Slight soiling to fore page edges. Slight crease to the tips of several pages. Slight marginal soiling to a couple of pages. Otherwise, a clean and unmarked copy of this rare local history. Not in OCLC. ~MM~ [1.5P] A 125-year history of Earlington, a city southeast of the center of Hopkins County, in western Kentucky, bordered to the north by Madisonville, the county seat. Earlington was settled in 1870 around the area's coal fields.
