Leather with paneled spine, red label present, clean but very rubbed to all corners and edges, surfaces and joints also somewhat rubbed, sp. label darkened and edge chipped but no text loss. t.p. with small engr .ill. beneath title + xxxvi + 216, large headpieces and sm. tail-pieces up to p. 133, 12 full page engr.(one per month) thereafter, 2 ills per page, marbled end-papers; previous owner's large brown ex-lib plate to fr. end-paper, re-fixed t.p. slightly proud, verso front and white recto of end-papers have numerous blue inc. spots and small no. 3 at bottom rear end-paper, all end-paper edges brown from cover adhesive leaching as common at this period, top corner fr. end-paper has small chip. Apparently rare, no Bookfinder hits at time of listing and no UK copies in JISC. Title text continues: 'Indique dans les courtes Reflexions sur les representations, en taille-douce, des sujets de l'Ancien & du Nouveau Testament, relatifs aux Parties de l'Annee Ecclesiastique & Civile'.
