About this Item
Softcover. Limited Edition 230. No pagination. White soft covers with black lettering. Very slight crease on front cover and bottom edge, otherwise a fine copy. What looks like a book, is in fact a conceptual artwork by Ryan Gander, produced by the artist in conjunction with his 2011 exhibition at ArtAngels titled "Locked Room Scenario." The same leaf of text is repeated over and over, "When the knife slips between my ribs, I initially think it's an accident, then after a few moments I realise it is intentional." The back cover features a faux biography and description of the text. Originally available during the run of the show, this book form work of art is a fine example of Gander's ability to bend of expectations across artistic disciplines. Seller Inventory # 6860
