Yellow paper-covered boards with black lettering and cover illustraton of a collie. Text is clean and bright, no marks, lightly tanned. Wonderfully illustrated throughout with drawings by Leonard Shortall. Unclipped DJ with $2.50 price shows light rubbing to edges, small chip at head of spine, and small green check to front cover. "More than anything in the world Edward wanted a dog. And second only to that was his desire to be free of the constant plaguing of Martin Hastings, the bully of Barkham Street.
