First 1948 Edition, Eighth Printing. Near Fine in Very Good Dust Jacket. Not remaindered and but price clipped. Book has been well preserved for 70 years and has slight pushes to front tips. It is unmarked throughout with no previous owner's signature. It has square, rigid boards and a tight spine. Appears unread. Many black and white illustrations.Jacket has small tears and loss around tips and spine ends but now looks dashing in its shiny new plastic cover.
