Chromolithographed dissected puzzle map of the United States, with the original illustrated pasteboard box. The map showing Oklahoma entirely as Indian Territory (with Ft. Gibson shown) and the Dakotas not divided. The chromolithographic illustration on the box cover showing Lady Liberty dressed in an American flag pointing to a large map of the United States, and accompanied by a young native American woman in feather headdress. The box measures 7 (wide) X 9" by 2" deep; missing sections of the lower and right side lip, but the illustration only lacking a small part of the border. The map, 21 1/2 x 15 1/4", is complete.
