This 6.875 x 9.625 inch, unpaginated hardcover book is the 1912 printing of this title by Charles Scribner's Sons as indicated by the Roman numeral date on the title page matching the date on the copyright page. This copy is in very good condition with the dark green cloth covers and its gilt lettering below the circular design and illustration of Tiny Tim and Bob Cratchit above the cover title. The top edges are gilt. The cloth covers show some wear to the corners but they have not worn through, and there is a touch of wear to the spine foot, but again with only minimal wear. The interior shows a previous owner's bookplate on the front pastedown and also an inked gift inscription on the ffep. That ffep has a half-inch tear on the fore-edge. The interior text pages are at least very good with a touch of age toning to the paper but no markings or damage showing to any pages. The ten Jessie Wilcox Smith illustrations are all in beautiful condition. There are some bookseller's penciled notations on the rear paste down. unpaginated pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-850
