Hardcover, bound in light gray linen with decorative B&W decor and lettering, is in Good condition, having a small tear at bottom front hinge, some chipping on spine and at top and bottom of spine, slight bow to volume,bumped corners, some staining and spotting to spine, and rubbing to covers. SIGNED IN PENCIL ON FIRST FREE END PAPER BY GEORGE J. FOLSEY, (1898-1988), American motion picture director of photography of such films as "Applause" (1929) and "Forbidden Planet" (1956) (see seller's photo). Book is filled with striking B&W photographs by Martin Hurlimann, Martin Munkacsi, Bruno Schultz, Elli Marcus, and many others. Text is in German.
