Borntreger (Northwood, Iowa), 5 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches tall blue hardcover, white design and lettering to front cover and spine, illustrated with black-and-white facsimiles and drawings, 321 pp. Minor rubbing and edgewear to covers, with a half-inch abrasion to the top edge of the front cover. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this rare family history and genealogy. OCLC (No. 440582245) locates only one copy at institutions worldwide - at the Mennonite Historical Library (Goshen College) in Goshen, Indiana. ~SP40~ [2.0P] The authors trace their ancestry to Swiss Mennonite immigrant Christian Hershberger, who arrived at Philadelphia in October 1737 on the ship 'Charming Nancy,' which had sailed from Rotterdam by way of Plymouth. In addition to genealogical information, the authors share the memories of grandparents Mose and Lavina (Byler) Hershberger. Includes index.
