Calnan (Brownfield, Maine), 8 1/2 x 11 inches tall spiral bound (black plastic comb) in blue printed covers, printed only on recto side of each leaf, thorough name index, 156 ff. Slight staining, rubbing and edgewear to covers. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce genealogy and family history. OCLC (No. 866521505) locates only two copies at institutions worldwide. Note that this is a heavy and oversized book, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders. ~X~ [2.5P] Looks at the ancestry of, and traces the descendants of, Gideon and John Mason, brothers from Pittsfield, New Hampshire. Gideon was born in June 1722. He married Sarah Libby in May 1793 in Parsonsfield, Maine, and they had six children together. John married Tryphena Allord in August 1793 in Porter, Maine, and they had twelve children together. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Maine and New Hampshire.
