Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles on tan label, five raised gilt bands, six compartments with gilt decoration, rubbed and worn in places. Joints good condition rubbed and worn. Corners good condition bumped and worn. Boards good condition red calf leather prize binding with crest to upper board with gilt borders, slight fading to the colour down the spine edge, the outer edges of the boards are also decorated in gilt. Page edges good condition all marbled. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact, paper cracking. Paste downs good condition marbled, the front past down has a prize label dated 1909, blind tooled dentelles. End papers good condition marbled, some offsetting from the leather.
