xxix + 218 pp. with coloured frontis and fifty illustrations by Norman S. Carr. Original pictorial brown cloth with illustrated endpapers. Lower corners slightly bumped otherwise a very good copy. One of many yarns written by the well-known author on ships and the sea, illustrated by his cruising mate Norman Carr, and giving an account of a voyage in "Vivette", a 25-foot 4 tonner, from the Hoo peninsula to Falmouth and back to the Hamble.
