The official printing of the debates and proceedings of the Virginia constitutional convention of 1867. This Reconstruction convention had to grapple with creating a new constitution for Virginia based on their own previous constitutional documents but also the Fourteenth Amendment to the American Constitution and other issues related to the loss of the Civil War.
