An expansive luncheon menu for Monday, August 5, 1957, offering hors d'oeuvre, soups, fish, farinaceous, vegetarian, eggs, entrees, a continental specialty, grills to order, joint, vegetables, potatoes, cold buffet, salads, dressings, sweets, ice cream, cheese, fresh fruit and a suggested menu, for those exhausted by having so many amazing choices. A 10.5 x 16.5 inch wide menu, printed onto heavy card that folds vertically at center. A clean copy with a just touch of toning. Artwork with extra fancy Cunard shipping line hat credited to "T.J. Bond" (Terrance James Bond, famous for his bird paintings) at lower right in dress frill. Verso w. a quote from John Milton (1608-1674) "But who is this? What thing of sea or land? Female of sex it seems, that so bedecked, ornate, and gay, comes this way sailing like a stately ship. With all her bravery on, and tackle trim, sails filled, and streamers waving.".
