About this Item
Spring 1937 catalogue to rear. Partially erased ink inscription to back of title page dated 1933. Odd given the book is clearly a 1937 printing. Book appears to have had a prize plate to the front free endpaper which has been removed. Main faults; Rear hinge is fraying externally and separated area has been glued back, staining and wear to spine, small ink splatter to front board (see image) Book has a lean and has moderate foxing/page discolouration, and the top of the compressed page edges is very dusty. Positives; All the Howard Leigh plates are present, book is complete. I have added a nice copy of an original jacket so the book looks pretty good on the shelf. Seller Inventory # 042686
