Account of cricketing in the Hawkes Bay area of New Zealand covering early history from 1855, the province having played 1st class cricket in the 1880's and again at the turn of the century. 1st edition. 8vo.320pp. plus 12 pages of black and white photos. Internally very good, clean and bright with very minor spotting to last few leaves only. Original green cloth boards, lightly sunned lower edge and in the original plain titled wrapper, lightly rubbed, now protected. With a small ex libris sticker to front pastedown.
