Half dark auburn calf over marbled paper backed boards, marbled endpapers. This poem sets out to describe - ' an extensive and highly romantic district ' in the Highlands of Scotland - Johnson 164, David Carey ( 1782 - 1824 ) , journalist, poet and Editor of the Inverness Journal He was a great supporter of the whig government, so much so that after the dissolution of the ministry of ' all the talents ' he penned a satire entitled ' Ins and outs : , or, the State of the Parties, by Chrononhotonthologos, " which met with immediate success and extensive sales.
