Boldly printed handbill advertising the lecture of Corporal Marion of the famous Canadian regiment, the "Princess Patricia's Regiment" which was nearly annihilated in the Battle of Ypres, for a presentation at a Washington DC venue. The header reads "Extra! At the Gaiety week of May 1st, "Corporal Marion"." Princess Patricia's Light Infantry was founded in 1914 and fought in the first battle of the Canadian Expeditionary Force in France, losing "nearly 1,000 men of the original 1,100 troops". 6 x 9".
