About this Item
Full brown diced calf with gilt and blindstamped frames to covers, 4 thick raised bands on spines with gilt frames and gilt devices. Title in gilt on spine. Marbled endpapers. From the library of the Earl of Dudley, 7 Carlton Gardens (nice bookplates from the late 19th century). This three volume set is in almost very good condition, internally clean and neat. The presumably original leather binding has suffered a litte from rubbing, volume one has weak hinges and about one inch of the leather of the spine has become detached but is still present. The set would benefit from some minor restauration work. Please contact me if you would like to see more pictures. Seller Inventory # ABE-1987889663
