Green cloth on boards with gilt lettering to spine. Clean and tidy, and firm.The pictorial dust jacket is unclipped, with light shelf wear and a small closed tear at the top of the front. Delightfully illustrated by BB himself. According to the publisher's information page on the reverse of the main title page, this is a 'Second edition, revised, 1970'. BB himself contributed to this edition, writing a 1970 preface in which he refers to the breaking of the largestr carp record by Richard Walker. I can find no trace of Eyre and Spottiswoode issuing a second edition of their 1950 piublication. Seller Inventory # 001727
