pp 335 7th edition, revised. A well illustrated dictionary of architectural terms, bound in publisher's red cloth with elaborate gilt decoration featuring a Gothic ceiling boss to the upper cover. Very good, light staining to spine and upper cover, brown free end paper has been cut out, the pages are crisp in a firm binding. From the library of Robert Washington Oates (1874-1958) who established a museum for the Oates Collection at Gilbert White's House in Selborne; his bookplates appear on the front pastedown. Neat gift inscription to the title page "To Nellie from her affectionate uncle S Bomford, April 1891". An attractive copy with interesting provenance.
