No printing history, no indication of what edition or what printing this is. 8-1/4" tall, 504 numbered pages; there are no illustrations. Covered in one-piece dark green pebbled binding, front board is elaborately decorated with tan flowers and vines, rear board is plain; plain ivory colored end pages; fore edge is trimmed; it is one of at least 23 titles (that is how many that I have) in a matched set. Book is in quite respectable condition. The exterior is reasonably clean; it is square, hinges tight; all four corners are very lightly bumped and have slight color loss; head of spine lightly bumped with light wear but no fraying; heel of spine has light wear with color loss at both gutter ridges; bottom edges have virtually no wear. Interior is spotlessly clean and completely unmarked; pages are tight and clean with no marks; no page corners folded or damaged; top corner of pages 503-504 torn off--page numbers and text not affected; hinges quite strong and tight; both front and rear end pages have staining from the manufacturer's glue; small (title page through page 12) rust-colored stain on lower fore edge does not penetrate and text is not affected; no discoloration of text pages; text pages lightly toned. No distortion of the book from reading or improper shelving; no previous owner markings or inscriptions, no remainder mark, not book club edition nor ex-library. Condition of book consistent with perhaps being gently read. No other discernible or objectionable faults on book such as marks or writing within, stains, tears, chips, or other damage that would diminish its appearance. Seller Inventory # JM-2024-8-30-9
