Undated. Edited by John Major. Clean, unworn cloth boards with impressed gilt fish motifs and titling. Spine has a little wear and one or two tiny splits to top and bottom and is lightly faded. No inscriptions. Tiny bookseller's label to back pdep (Blinko and son, of Ramsgate.) Head page edges gilded; fore and tail page edges are age-darkened.Binding firm and text clean. Eighty two engravings and woodcuts, the full plates all having their tissue guards two or three of which are very lightly spotted. Slightly tobacco-scented, but a very nice copy.
