About this Item

This ephemera was collected from Arizona, California, Colorado, and Wyoming. The collector visited Walnut Canyon and the Petrified Forest in Arizona, Knott's Berry Farm in California, Jack London State Historic Park, Yosemite (the Yosemite brochure here printed in 1965), the Birth of Liberty Mosaic, Royal Gorge (this is the Broadsheet, with a map of the area and information on spending a day there), Pike's Peak, Mesa Verde National Park, and finally, with ephemera from Cheyenne Frontier Days. There is an offical program and a souvenir program from the 72nd Annual Cheyenne Frontier Days, with ticket stubs, a newspaper article on a "mountain man" who showcased his various talents at the Frontier Days, and a photograph of likely one of the collectors of this ephemera shaking hands with a man dressed in buckskin. The collection documents various National and State historical monuments and parks during the middle of the twentieth century, with bright images of mountains, desert rock, wide open vistas, and more. Most of the paper is quite clean, the broadsheet has four folds and the official program for the frontier days has one fold that is not original to its design. The bumper sticker was also folded in half. Seller Inventory # 000011069
