Book #24 in the classic series featuring girl sleuth, Nancy Drew, & her chums, Bess & George. Orig. published in 1947, this is a slightly later printing (per Farah's 11th, 1960B-26) with the original text & first cover art in the blue tweed format with "blue multipic" endpapers & a matte frontispiece by Russell Tandy. The book is in VG+ condition: exceptionally clean & bright save for slight smudging to exterior fore edge. Binding strong & straight, both hinges secure, pages creamy white but completely unmarked. Extremely mild rubbing to extremities. The unclipped wrap-style DJ has the yellow silhouette spine symbol. Condition is also VG+: clean & bright, with very modest rubbing to extremities, heaviest at corners & both ends of spine; beautifully protected in new mylar cover to look lovely in your collection.
