5 1/8" x 7 3/8", dark tan pictorial cloth with debossed gilt titling and brown decorative details to front board and spine, 227 pp. + 2 p. ads. Subtitled, 'Or, Summer Days At The White Mountains', part of the author's 'Pine Cone Series' of books of adventure stories for boys. Illustrated with engravings. This copy in Very Good to VG Plus condition with only minor condition issues. See the photo enlarged; a handsome copy. Excellent condition except for mild age-toning to leaves and endpapers, a slight spine lean ('cocking'), and the tissue guard of the frontis engraving is somewhat foxed with some of this transferred to the title page.
