About this Item
This 5.875 x 8.625 inch, 238 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is the stated second printing -November 1959- of the first edition of this title with that information on the copyright page. This book is in at least near fine condition with one very modest corner bump on the top front panel to detract from an otherwise near flawless copy - - with the black cloth covers with gilt crossed swords and gilt design and titling on the spine. The interior is strictly fine with no damage or markings to note. The book features different end-paper maps. The authors thorough accounting of this 1863 battle which was perhaps the most prominent Civil War clash of opposing cavalry forces - - along with a great group of black-and-white photos, additional text maps, and numerous black-and-white graphics of weapons, horses, dress, etc. The dust wrapper is in near fine condition with just touches of edge-wear - - with the price unclipped - - a touch of wear at the folds - - but overall again near fine - - and now protected by a near fine cover. 238 pages.
