Produced to commemorate Winston Churchill's Chancellorship of the University of Bristol and, with his support, appeal for funds in order to extend the university. A quarto sized booklet in card wraps lacking a small piece of the lower corner of its front wrap. Containing a description of the University with its plans for the future it also has a facsimile letter from Churchill, supporting the appeal, facing a photograph of him dressed in the robes of the Chancellor.
