Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Illustrated Edition. This is a charming Christmas advent calendar, "A CHRISTMAS CAROL - Adapted from Charles Dickens' Story" by R.J. Cruikshank. Circa 1950's (there is no date of publication stated); The Seabury Press; Greenwich, CT. Softcover. The calendar features a wonderful old-time bird's-eye view cityscape in color with buildings that have windows and doors that open to reveal scenes from "A Christmas Carol." There are 12 windows and doors in all - each is numbered. There are three pages of story text, followed by the cityscape. Within the story text are numbers (1 through 12) that correspond with the window/door in the cityscape. Condition: Both covers and all pages are securely attached. Light creasing at the corners. Small, light stain near the top-right back cover corner. All "windows/doors" are present and open/close as would be expected with no tears. Overall in Very Good condition.
