7 1/2" x 9 3/4", pictorial paper-covered boards with red cloth spine, unpaginated (approx. 60 pp.), 2 full-page color plates, 37 b&w illustrations. Very scarce children's book, circa 1920 (undated), with two nice color plates (one featuring a young girl holding a fairy in her hand with her Golliwogg doll at her feet). Book is unavailable anywhere (out of 150 million books online and worldwide library search). Nice cover illustration, the same to each board. Condition: Very Good (see all 3 photos enlarged). Edges and corners worn with chipping at the extreme edges, general light wear to surfaces, spine cloth moderately soiled. Internally good with occasional finger soiling, gift inscr. and some math sums, all in erasable pencil, on front pastedown, first 25 pages with pencilled page number at top corner, two pages near center of book with a few words crossed out in brown crayon, back gutter starting, with 2" split at top; otherwise good.
