The Children s Voyage or A Trip in the Water Fairy by Mrs. George Cupples (Anne Jane Douglas), Marcus Ward & Co., London, 1873, frontispiece with 12 chromolithographs, brown decorative cloth, 8.75 x 7 , 4to. In good condition. Light wear to extremities with minor scuffing to corners and end bands. Light crushing of end bands, particularly to tail. Gilt finishing bright and clean. Cloth a bit ruddy, darkened, difficult to see black decoration. Old hand gift inscription on front fly leaf. Old hand ownership on second fly leaf dated 1875. Interior lightly toned with scattered foxing. Free of known markings. Binding tight and intact. All edges gilt. Please see photos. First edition.
