Original poster. 47 X 57 cm., to poster edges, approximately viz irregular dimensions, 64 x 53 cm, to frame edges, titles and graphic silkscreened in reverse white on a block of red on newsprint on remnant posters, rubber-stamp of the Atelier on bottom left, float farmed and glazed. N.p. [Paris], Atelier Populaire Ex-Ecole Des Beaux-Arts, n.d. May 1968. Ripped and torn edges, rippled from wheatpaste, stamp and image unaffected. An evocative copy torn off a wall of other posters. Not in Beauty is in The Street but 1 for a similar but very graphically different example. A play on words and response to a derogatory remark made by de Gaulle, here depicted as a Dracula like figure. Seller Inventory # MAI681
