Engraved linen backed map folding into 8vo., in 2 sections of 16½ x 38¼ ins. each covering parts of Anglesey & Flintshire from Holyhead to Chester. Uncoloured with a coloured gradient chart to lower margin, with the route neatly lined in ink from Holyhead to Chester showing the Menai Bridge, slight foxing marks only where mounted to inner boards, otherwise internally very good condition, 8vo. (8¾ x 5¼ ins.) with a silk marker, bound in full green calf, triple gilt rule & gilt lettered to front board 'Chester & Holyhead Railway. Edwd. Cropper.' with a folding metal clasp, spine faded, wear to extremities, little marked however good, sound & attractive. O.S. map n.d. circa 1850 when the Menai Bridge was completed.
