Fair to poor. There are splits at the spine, and the back cover has come loose from the rest of the book. The first few pages, including the title page, are loose from the binding, and there is some writing. There is edge and corner wear to the boards. The cover picture of a little girl still has good eye appeal, and the color frontispiece of a man and monkey is good also. There are many black and white etchings, some full-page.
