Folded 12 1/2 x 9 1/2 inch menu from NYC Chanterelle restaurant with Bill Cosby and Edward Henderson design on front; this copy has the menu offerings on the inside for June 28 - July 16 1988. There are scattered food stains to the menu image. Also included the smaller sized bill for the meal with same design on front but the inside is blank and stained. Chanterelle restaurant was opened by David and Karen Waltuck in NYC in 1979. During its 30 year run it invited artists to create covers for the seasonal menus about every 6 months that were usually offset printed in runs of 800 by American Menu Printing with 70 menus completed by 2009 when the restaurant closed its Tribeca location. Surviving menus with the weekly meals inside are uncommon. Seller Inventory # ChBiCh350
