15 Exciting Short Stories and 14 Interesting Articles. Well Illustrated with 4 Full Page Colour Plates and many Full Page and In-Text Monochrome Illustrations. First story is "The Rush at Diamond Drift" by Vincent Drake. Frontis has a colour illustration of British boys on a Pacific island fixing a Union Jack to a Palm Tree. Title page illustrated with a cricket match. Brown cloth spine and paper covered boards. Front Illustrated with 3 Boys "Shooting Rapids" in a Canoe. 224 Pages, 9 3/4" Tall. Lower third of backstrip cloth missing from spine, also a closed tear down left side of spine. Some edge wear to boards.
