There were four editions in the first year of its publication - and this one is probably the third, issued without a frontispiece. A 1981 letter from the distinguished bookseller John Howell Books in San Francisco says it is the First Edition, but that is incorrect. Nicely bound, and with the bookplate of Alfred Sutro - local lawyer and bibliophile. Seller Inventory # 2881
