Bevelled boards, with a couple of dents to base and slight damage to spine. Untrimmed edges as issued. Light tanning to endpapers. Four-page Introduction by Harry Rylands text in dark brown. Facsimile of catechism has title-page printed in red and black, rest of the text printed in black. 71 pages (unpaginated), some uncut. Illustrated with 'twenty-four wood-cuts illustrations, most of them marked with the monogram of Hans Behaim.' Contents clean and bright. The 'Catechismus' is followed by 'Ein trawbuchlin fur die ein feltigen pfarherrn' (p. [55]-[62]) with half-title within ornamental border, and 'Das tauffbuchlin verdeutscht und auffs new zugericht.
